In a few steps, visitors are taken between the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries to meet people from other times than our own. They are happy to talk about their lives and let visitors take part in their chores and activities. 

Everywhere, there are historical games for all the children, and visitors can take part in the daily dramatised tours through the theme park Jamtli Historieland. The indoor museum has a surprise slide down to exciting exhibitions in a large underground landscape. Enjoy popular art with beautiful Jämtland cupboards and textiles. Jamtli’s treasure is the 1000-year-old Viking Age Överhogdal tapestries. Café, restaurant, shop and youth hostel.
